New USPS RateV3 API Shipping Module PLEASE NOTE: If you have been using the USPS module before the international API change on May 14th, 2008 you need to make sure you record your existing USPS settings before installing the USPS RateV3 API Shipping Module. Why? Because the new module overwrites the old one during the installation process, and the settings will need to be manually transferred. You do not want to lose your very important settings that are currently in your shipping module!! The new module can be downloaded from our downloads page here: USPS Module v3.0.4 Please follow the steps listed below: Go to your CRE Loaded template's store admin -> modules -> shipping -> Select (Click on) your existing USPS module and record all the existing configuration settings. After you have recorded your existing settings, click the "Remove" button at the top of the module configuration panel; this will remove the existing USPS shipping module settings. Next, you need to prepare the configuration settings for the new USPS module. Note that certain variables within the module code may also need to be adjusted. These variables are located in the following folder path: includes/modules/shipping/usps.php. Determine the settings you need by referring to page 6 of the USPS instructions at http://www.usps.com/webtools/_pdf/Rate-Calculators-v1-2.pdf. "International" options are set in lines 76-79; "National" options are set in lines 246-268.
